El diputado del exterior, Edward Cruz, celebra el Día de las Madres en el sur de la Florida.

DIARIO ULTRAMAR, MIAMI, Florida.- El diputado Lic. Edward Cruz, por la circunscripción II del exterior por el Partido Revolucionario Moderno (PRM), reafirmó su compromiso social de seguir trabajando en beneficio de las mujeres de la comunidad dominicana.
En un acto realizado en la Seccional Florida Sur del PRM, el diputado Cruz entregó docenas de utensilios y electrodomésticos para el hogar, para agasajar a las madres que allí se dieron cita.
La actividad la inició la madre del legislador Cruz, la Sra. Milagros Brooks, con la invocación del Señor para bendecir el acto y dar gracias al Todopoderoso, por haber permitido el significativo encuentro, tal como se estila tradicionalmente.
El primer vicepresidente de la Seccional Florida Sur del PRM, Ing. Kelvin Acosta, agradeció infinitamente la cortesía, deferencia y distinción exhibida por Lic. Edward Cruz, quien de forma y manera cotidiana festeja a las madres dominicanas en el sur de la Florida.
El diputado Cruz, felicitó a todas las madres en su día, les declamó dos hermosos poemas para enaltecer la figura subliminal de la mujer en tan propicia ocasión.
En la parte final se sorteó un televisor de 65 pulgadas, resultando ganadora la señora Amalia Hurtado, quien le expresó las gracias al diputado Cruz y al equipo organizador, por la calidez y empatía del bello acto.
